~ GOOD GIFTS ~
Our
family went through a season when the Lord kept speaking
to us with the numbers 711. We kept seeing them
everywhere. You name it, 711’s would pop up in the
strangest times. One day the Lord gave my young son the
following scripture and this confirmed to us that He
wanted to give us His good gifts.
Matt 7:11 NKJV
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to
your children, how much more will your Father who is in
heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

The Lord
is very funny. Tonight as I was just getting out of a
relaxing bath, I heard the Lord say, “Line one.”
Immediately I knew I had a call waiting from Him and He
wanted to give me a special Word, so I knew I should go
quiet myself and listen for Him. I dutifully climbed
into bed and glanced at the clock. It said 7:11. I was
really tickled, thinking, “Oh wow, this is going to be
neat, the Lord really has something to say to me.”
Out of
habit, I bound the enemy and devourer from stealing His
Words, and then I waited a few minutes, and heard
nothing. Just as I was wondering if the Lord was going
to say anything, through our joining walls I heard my
son’s answering machine pick up a phone call. I heard
his friend’s voice say, “Hey, it’s 7:11. Bye!” I was
laughing so hard!
Then I
quieted myself and laid there an hour waiting to hear
Him and heard nothing. Just as I FINALLY figured out
that WAS His literal call telling me He was going to
give us good gifts, my son walks in and tells me his
friend left a funny message on his recorder that it was
7:11! I am sure He and the angels all had a great
laugh at this precious Word they had just delivered to
me.

THE LORD
HAS THE LAST WORD, AS USUAL
Throughout the years, the Lord continued to speak to us
through 711s. His Words are always so precious, so
good, so pure, so wholesome, so delicious, so great!
Would you like to know my favorite 711 Word? The day we
met our future daughter-in-law. Our son introduced us
by saying her birthday is on 7/11.

TO PONDER: ASK ME FOR GOOD GIFTS
My dear ones, I want you to
think seriously about the true desires of your hearts.
Then be brave and ask Me for them. When I answer them,
then you will be fully aware that I have not only heard
you, but also answered your requests. I am your loving
Father and how I delight in giving you good gifts.
I am delighting in the
rekindling of My people’s prayers. As I breathe upon
them to pray and give Me their requests, they are
springing to life in hope. I am listening, My dear ones.
Keep on praying, keep on asking.
Your prayers are the seed
stock for a great harvest. It is My joy to give good
gifts and it is My joy to give you the desires of your
heart. You shall have the answer to your prayers
through eternity. Forever is a long, long time. I am
so blessed to have you with Me forever.
“Or
what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread,
will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he
give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to
give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall
your Father which is in heaven give good things to them
