rhema 7/04/10  TO GIVE GOD PLEASURE

HEARD:  Time to press in.

Clock Time:  5:55

INTERP:  I opened my eyes when hearing the Lord say this and my eyes landed on the clock that said 5:55.  I knew the Lord was saying that He was giving us his triple grace to lean on Him, even when we are too exhausted to press in through any other means.

EXPERIENCE:  We are so very precious to our loving Heavenly Father.  He loves to love us.  He has pleasure just by watching.  Today at our family BBQ I got to hold our 3rd grandbaby who is 4 months old.  I had joy every time I looked down upon her cherub face, sound asleep in my arms. 

CONFIRMATION:  Tonight I was discouraged because I was not hearing the Lord very much and had been thinking maybe I should get up in the middle of the night like I used to.  I did this for so many years and then when I fell sick, I needed the rest but was unable to rest well due to taking steroids which  were like adrenalin to my body.  I am now off of them and exhausted and sleeping strongly and it is hard to wake up at all.  About 10 seconds after thinking about this, I heard Stacey Campbell on God TV say that God gave her a picture where she saw people sleeping.  She suddenly realized that even when we are doing nothing, it gives God pleasure.  She said she loved to just open the door to her children's bedrooms and watch them sleep.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

UPDATE  7/27/10:  My grandchildren are in Disneyland right now.  All 3 kids are 3 yrs and younger.  Mom reported in that all 3 of them were sound asleep at the same time.  I said, "So what does Mom and Dad do in the middle of Disneyland when all 3 kids are sound asleep?"  She reported back that they went to dinner with one sleeping in the stroller, one sleeping in their arms and she emailed me the most precious photo.  I saw that the third had his bottom on the chair next to Dad and his head draped on Dad's leg.  I love grandkid photos, but that one is just SO precious.  It gives me so much pleasure just thinking about that photo. 

Now I understand that when I have played really hard, God just loves to see me sleep.
