RHEMA 2/07/14 GET PAST THE KNEE JERKS

HEARD:  Root of bitterness.  

HEARD:  Those are punch buttons.  Miserable.  Your bruises.  Knee Jerk. 

EXPERIENCE:  I experienced a strong flash of fiery light clashing between light and darkness.  It was fierce in warfare and I had the fear of the Lord over the matter.  Even though it was in the distance, I felt it and it shook me. 

Hebrews 12:27-29 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

HEARD:  Strong message.  Bitter fruit.  A pile up.  There is more to this.  It’s deep, I can see this. Soul wound. 

HEARD:  The way out.  Humility.   The way to relate.  My friend.  Honor.  This also tells me you have to use wisdom.  There has got to be a way.  Keep praying. 

WORD TO PONDER:  ABUSED SOULS  1/18/07

In the natural maturation process, it takes time to unwind the issues of an abused soul and see how it bends towards certain behavioral patterns.  One can respond perfectly normally, until a situation gets too close to an old wound, and then old dysfunctional patterns emerge.  Within every person there is a child part that has never grown beyond repeated old wounds.  Lives continue, life matures and grows around those places.  But in areas too close, the child remains.

The old gnarled places are like knots in a tree, with circular patterns extending from the injury.  The closer one gets to those places, the more contorted they are.  That describes the human way that puts up safety measures and barriers so as not to get too close to that old pain.  I understand your pain, dear one, and how you got there.  I understand each and every issue much deeper than you remember.

It is important to Me that you do not define yourself by these incidents.  A knot in a tree does not define the tree as dysfunctional.  It is still a tree and few when looking at a tree even notice knots.  A knot in a tree really says that the tree has overcome something and yet thrives in spite of it.  It is a hero badge.  Those wounded places will become your greatest assets as you are empowered by My Spirit to heal others of the same issues.  Remember that I AM calling you beyond your wounded child, into full maturity in every area of your life.  As you circle an old dysfunctional place knowing that your behavior is not lining up with My will for you, offer up to Me the need for healing.  Confess your falling short.  Ask Me for wisdom to help you understand how you got there, and then FORGIVE and release the bitter memories that tells you that today is the same as yesterday.

Ps 147:2-6 NKJV

The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted  and binds up their wounds.  He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.  Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.  The LORD lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.

VISION:  I saw a large title written in BOLD BLACK CAPS and flies were swarming all over it. Beelzebub means the lord over the flies.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

HEARD:  Remembrance.  These are lies. 

HEARD:  I would have chosen wrongly again?  This tells me how important the truth is.  What is a stronghold?  It starts with a wound.

RHEMA 2/12/14  DEMOLISHING STRONGHOLDS

HEARD:  The need to understand.  To separate the truth from the lies.  Begin to heal.  Deep wound, uncertain. This affects one’s faith, doesn’t understand this.   Pickle.  Its relevant.  The older I get, the more I get hardened in my mindset.   Stronghold, it’s a matter of opinion.  It’s is not of faith. 

HEARD:  Clash.

VISION:  I saw a flash of light. 

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) 5 Casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

HEARD:  Dominions in the mind, a way of thinking.  Pulverize.  So we march into our order and fit into place.  A ways to go yet, hang in there. 

HEARD:  We need to know truth in order to make a decision.

Psalms 25:4-5 Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. 5 Lead me in your truth, and teach me: for you are the God of my salvation; on you do I wait all the day.

HEARD:  Fly paper, where is the truth?  Love doesn’t quit. 

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Does not behave itself rudely, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, keeps no record of evil; 6 Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails…

HEARD:  Yes sir, I repeat this.  Root.  What I am about to do.  Dirty snow.  A well-worn path.  Ice.  Silver thaw.  Melt down. 

HEARD:  There is a lesson learned here.  Humility, lessons learned.  Whom the son sets free, he shall be free indeed.  

WORD TO PONDER:  GET PAST THE KNEE JERKS 2/07/14

I am arranging circumstances to draw deeply embedded and bitter wounds to the surface.  PRAY.  Beloveds, you need to heal and get past the knee jerk reflexes that cause you to wrongly respond to others.  I want the wounds in your soul cleansed and the bitterness extracted.  You are listening to lies that are simply not true.  These wounds have caused your perceptions to askew what you think about people, about yourself and about Me.  Humble yourselves before Me and others.  Repent for kicking.  Take authority over the strongholds in your life and demolish them.  Let no mind that is set on opinions remain in your life.  Stop arguing and bring them down to the full obedience of Christ Jesus.

John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.

PRAYER:  Lord we rebuke and pull down every stronghold in our mind that is rising up in rebellion against Your truth.  Let there be no lie that remains in our thinking.  Demolish and pulverize them Lord!!  Father we offer our wounded souls up to you and ask that You will properly cleanse them and begin to pull up and out the bitter roots that were wrongly fed through negative thoughts, emotions and un-forgiveness.  Release us Lord and let Your truth set us free and replace all strongholds with right thinking and obedience to Jesus Christ.
