FOLLOWING THE DOTS TO THE END OF THE TUNNEL 6/07/13

QUICKENED PARABLE: Today at the eye doctor, I had a visual field test where I put my head in this machine and focused only on the dots straight ahead. Then I pressed a button every time I saw another dot of light flash somewhere around those dots. I never knew where the light would flash, it required a lot of discipline to keep my focus. The “test” came back normal which was a relief, since I felt like I had missed dots simply because I got distracted and tired.

TUNNEL VISION QWN READER WORD 6/06/13

Today I received a word from a QWN reader. The phrase “Tunnel Vision” was quickened to her, and it was about those who are so focused on the world, that they miss the mark. When I looked up the word tunnel vision, it meant a visual impairment of peripheral vision, which is the area along the sides.

I saw that in the opposite way, when we focus on the Lord, we only have eyes for Him and thus tunnel vision for Him. As we focus on Him, we will not be distracted by all the things along the side that pull us away from His focused plan.

QUICKENED TRUCK SIGN: On the way home from the eye doctor I saw the word DOT on a truck and it was quickened to me.

UPDATE 6/16/13: Our kids are in Hawaii and they downloaded an APP that lets us follow their GPS DOT as they tour around. It has been such fun to watch over them this way. It has given us a lot of comfort to see their DOT arrive safely back at their hotel each night!

QUICKENED MEMORY: All this talk about tunnels and dots has reminded me that the Lord promised us we could come to the end of our tunnels and break through into the light on the other side!

RHEMA 2/21/13 COMING TO THE END OF THE TUNNEL

HEARD: Are you listening? We are coming up to the end of the tunnel.

[When I got up this morning after hearing the above, “We are coming up to the end of the tunnel” I downloaded my emails and saw that Pastor James had received a full Word about the tunnel today. This is VERY EXCITING. In 2000, I heard it would be 13 years to the light at the end of the tunnel, and here we are! Glory to God.]

This morning I experienced something like traveling through a very dark tunnel for a long distance. Suddenly, I emerged from the darkness into the glorious light of Heaven. I was standing on a low hill looking down at the Holy City. It was bright, majestic, and absolutely beautiful this morning, and I was getting an Ultra HD view of this awesome place created by our wonderful Father God. As I looked down from the hill across fields which looked like the manicured grass on a top ranked golf course, I saw two very majestic bridges crossing over the River of Life. They were arched very high above the river and were made of some pure white substance.

Then the Word of the Lord came. The Lord said, “The time many of you have spent in the darkness is coming to an end, and you are about to suddenly step out into the light of wisdom, understanding, counsel and might! Some things which have stood in your way are being bridged right now! You are going to be able to cross over these things very high above them! I am showing you two bridges so that you will understand that these things are going to happen quickly and back to back! You will be relieved to cross over one of them, but this time of overcoming will not stop at just one thing! Expect to receive more and more breakthrough experiences coming in rapid succession! Don’t settle for partial breakthrough! Press in until you overcome all of it!”

RHEMA 6/14/13 in the long tunnel PIPE

DREAM: I looked down a long pipe, bowing very low and I saw that our cat was at the other end of the pipe, like a long tunnel. It was a perfect for her size and she was hiding and did not want to come out. She had learned how to do bookkeeping and she had drawn a picture of her expenses. I clapped my hands and said, Yea! You learned how to record your expense!! I was very proud of her and had joy over her as though she was a tiny child. I was reminded that we have to count the cost and we do not necessarily have heaven’s backing for some decisions. We have to discern the cost, lest we quit before we have finished.

Luke 14:27-33 And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sits not down first, and counts the cost, whether he has enough to finish it? 29 Lest perhaps, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sits not down first, and consults whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends a delegation, and desires conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he has, he cannot be my disciple.

WORD TO PONDER: ARE YOU COMING OUT OF YOUR TUNNEL? 6/07/13

Dear ones, I understand you have gone through an enormous battle of pressing through your mountains. It has been a long journey of faith and you have been trusting Me all this way. I have left a trail of bread crumbs, like little dots of light that have brought you through a dark time of much pressure. You have been boring through great mountains and it has only been because of your diligence and focus on Me that you have come this far. Are you going to stop short, just shy of breaking through?

Yes the cost to get you to the end has been very high, much more than what you expected. And yet Who has funded your way with great grace, favor and help? You have let go of your independence and learned to depend upon Me. I have been with you and never left your side even for an instance. I realize you are in need of much repair and you have hesitation about coming out and facing a new season, because of having already counted the cost of the last one. I understand this precious ones. Yes wait on Me, count your costs and make your decisions. No matter how beautiful the breakthroughs are, it does need great courage to overcome your past and be willing to walk away from it. I AM with you and am so proud of your journey in Me!
