DEFILED BUT CHANGED INTO NEW
Today I was pondering the truth
that Jesus said we defile ourselves by what we say and
then I was thinking about the scripture in Revelations
about those who have not defiled their garments, but
walk in white.
Jesus called to the crowd to come and hear. "Listen," he
said, "and try to understand. 11 It's not what goes into
your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the
words that come out of your mouth."
the disciples came to him and asked, "Do you realize you
offended the Pharisees by what you just said?" Jesus
replied, "Every plant not planted by my heavenly Father
will be uprooted, so ignore them. They are blind guides
leading the blind, and if one blind person guides
another, they will both fall into a ditch." Then Peter
said to Jesus, "Explain to us the parable that says
people aren't defiled by what they eat."
you understand yet?" Jesus asked. "Anything you eat
passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer.
But the words you speak come from the heart—that's what
defiles you. For from the heart come evil thoughts,
murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying,
and slander. These are what defile you. Eating with
unwashed hands will never defile you."
have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled
their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white,
for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed
in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from
the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My
Father and before His angels.

Zech 3:1-5 NKJV
Then he showed me Joshua the
high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and
Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. And the
LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The
LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a
brand plucked from the fire?" Now Joshua was clothed
with filthy garments, and was standing before the
Angel. Then He answered and spoke to those who stood
before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from
him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your
iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich
robes." And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on
his head." So they put a clean turban on his head, and
they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the LORD
