RHEMA 4/07/11  DEEPEN YOUR  ROOTS

HEARD:  It is not an easy task to have lived the life you live.  A regular person.  It's who you are, far above and beyond the norm.  You have deep roots, much deeper than you think.  The person you are deep inside. 

QUICKENED MEMORY:  I remembered that a tree is supposed to have at least 2/3 more roots then its height.  Most of those roots extend horizontal for stability and surface nutrients and oxygen.  However trees also have main tap roots that grow straight down in search of water, especially established when young trees. 

CONFIRMATION:  I received a BD card that had a picture of an oak tree above ground.  When you opened the card, it showed the oak tree again with deep roots underground. 

WORD TO PONDER:  DEEPEN YOUR  ROOTS  4/07/11

During dry times when you are not receiving liberal rains, just like a tree planted in search of water, this is the time when I grow your tap roots of faith to reach deeper into Me.  

Return to My Word, both logos and past rhema Words and find drink.  Speak in tongues and bring forth My fountains of living water that already abide within you.  Find opportunities to be motivated and moved by love.  Faith grows by hearing My Word.  Listen to My Word via media and let it wash over your soul.  Connect to quickened phrases that bring life and receive the refreshment your soul longs for. 

Seek Me early in the morning and upon your bed at night.  Let your soul be satisfied with praise and joyful lips for I have been your help and your refuge under the shadow of My wings. 

Eph 3:17-18 NKJV

That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love...

Col 2:6-7  NKJV

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

Ps 63:1-8 NKJV

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.  So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.  Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.  My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.  When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.  Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.  My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.

CONFIRMATION TYPO:  When I pondered that the Lord said I had deep roots, I continued to have the impression of the deep tap roots of a tree.  I was wondering exactly how one grows deeper roots.  And He led me to the above ideas through scripture.  I laughed out loud when I saw that I had typed joyful tips, instead of joyful lips!

PRESCRIBED TIMES OF MEETING ME  1/13/07

Just as I met with Adam in the coolness of the day, I desire to have prescribed times of meeting with you.  Set aside time to be with Me, dear one.  Not only will these times refresh your soul, build your faith, and fortify your spirit, they will also become a settling place for you, where you are able to walk with more confidence. What springs out of your life requires the deep roots of walking with Me.  The more time you spend with Me, the more you will learn to abide in Me and there will come a day when we will walk as One mind, One heart and One Spirit.

Ex 33:8-10 NKJV

So it was, whenever Moses went out to the tabernacle, that all the people rose, and each man stood at his tent door and watched Moses until he had gone into the tabernacle. And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.

TIME FOR DEEPER STUDY 1/19/09

There are times and seasons, each for My purpose.  You have entered a time when it is important to study My Word.  Research, ask questions, dig for answers.  Search for common reference points, common words to understand My bigger picture from history through now.  I AM opening My Word to you, that you may see fuller revelation of what I intended from the very beginning.  Beloved student, if you take the time to study My Word, heed it and not turn away, I will reward you for your time.  Your faith will be rekindled, your understanding will nourish deep roots and your joy shall return.

Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.
