HEARD:  You dont know how much it impacts.  It will help you discern.  Yes these are important.  Debate.  It’s everywhere.

Word to ponder:  discerning a debating spirit  8/13/08

Beloved you have walked through a long season of being finely tuned to witness the voices of a debating spirit versus the voices of those who bow low with a teachable, listening heart.  Yes those who are really hungry for My truth will pester with questions, earnestly searching for answers, but they do so with a different motive.  Yes they sometimes wrestle, but that too is easily discerned. 

However those who are sucked into hardhearted debate with opinions, criticism, control, fierce division, cynic and bitter unbelief, they are no longer teachable.  They wrestle with men, My truth, and their own bitter spirits, as they release the poison of the tongue.

Wait on Me and let me wash you from the strife of tongues.  Bring all that concerns you to Me and I will set you free from the spirit of debate that is circling the world.

Prov 12:19-22  NKJV

The truthful lip shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.  Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counselors of peace have joy. No grave trouble will overtake the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evil.  Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.

UPDATE COMMENT  10/11/08:  With the elections coming so soon, the spirit of debate is everywhere.  It is very exhausting to give it at ear.  I watched the debates because I felt it was very vital to pray.

LEARN TO GIVE WITHOUT STRIFE  11/01/04

Dear ones, when I send you with My message, your only assignment is to deliver the Word and then back off and let Me do the convincing.  It is not your job to play Holy Spirit.  To step beyond the boundaries of your assignment is to fall into a downward spiral that results in striving and debate. This does not represent Me or My message.  Such behavior represents the Pharisees and wolves who are blind and lost in their own mind-sets.  They defend their opinions in frank and bold speech.  They point the finger silhouetting their own wounds and know not the wisdom of their God.

When I serve My Word, it is as a humble and lowly servant.  If I, being Lord, am gentle and lowly of heart, how much more should you?  Listen to the word give.  It means to bestow, grant, offer, present, donate, furnish, impart.  When I give it is served on a platter of choice.  I do not force Myself on the non-teachable. As you come into synch with My purposes and with one another, you will learn that giving through My Presence and through My Spirit will result in pure, sweet peace.

2 Tim 2:23-26 NLT

Again I say, don't get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. The Lord's servants must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone. They must be able to teach effectively and be patient with difficult people. They should gently teach those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will believe the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the Devil's trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.

A NEW CHAPTER  AWAY FROM STUBBORN MINDSETS 1/14/08

Many of My own were sent with the protein of strong meat to those who have wrestled strongly against My ways, My Words and My methods.  I sent them into a season of strong knocking so that many would open the doors of their minds.  My sent ones have paid a great price for their knocking on such limited doors.  I have trained them how to recognize the stubbornness of an unteachable spirit and how to politely walk away from all debate, having suffered the fruit and loss of such labors. 

Precious ones, you walked out a season much bigger than your own lives; My Words and promises are vastly intricate and bigger than you understand.  As you give me your own limited understanding of what you lost, what you spent, and how you followed Me through it, I shall lift you up above your own circumstances to see the perspective much greater, much higher that your immediate view.  This understanding shall bring much healing to you.

Beloved ones, I have closed this chapter in your life and you shall no longer be sent to those who are blinded by their limited mindsets of Who I AM.  Instead, be faithful in your intercessions over such people.  I have redeemed all that you spent and all that you lost during that time, and you, My sent ones shall be stuffed to the brim with recompense.
