{Teaching} Dark Light: Dreams, Visions From The Second Heaven

DARK LIGHT: DREAMS, VISIONS FROM THE SECOND HEAVEN 5/23/09

I had been thinking about the problem that the church has suffered in receiving dreams and visions. - That most of the dreams and visions having “bad” news in them, of warfare, destruction, or demonic intent are coming from the 2nd heaven which is where the principalities dwell. They contain portions of truth, enough to lure and be deceptive, but they are not coming from God’s pure light.

As I was reading the following scriptures, I heard the Lord say the following and then immediately impart the following to me:

Eph 5:8-18 NKJV

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light." 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Eph 5:13 AMP

But when anything is exposed and reproved by the light, it is made visible and clear; and where everything is visible and clear there is light.

HEARD: Clear light.

IMPARTED SCRIPTURE:

Luke 11:34-36 NKJV

The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. 35 Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. 36 If then your whole body is full of light , having no part dark , the whole body will be full of light , as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light ."

QUICKENED REMEMBRANCE: As soon as I heard the Lord say, “Clear Light”, I remembered there is such a thing as Dark Light. I had listened to John Paul Jackson’s notes on 20 kinds of dreams, and he mentioned dark light dreams. He did not go into depth, as it was just a small point in the list of 20. So I prayed and found the following examples of dark light. This helped me to understand that difficulty discerning demonic dark light has been around for a long time and is a last day warning to the church.

EXAMPLES OF DARK LIGHT

1) Eliphaz

The following is an example of dark light as given to Eliphaz. The following is Eliphaz’s spiritual experience, from which he had a negative, fearful response. Notice the environment of the “word” was elusive, and not coming from clear light: Note the words, “secretly, whisper, spirit and form without appearance.” And the message of the one speaking was negative with a challenging accusation.

Job 4:12-21 NKJV

"Now a word was secretly brought to me, And my ear received a whisper of it. 13 In disquieting thoughts from the visions of the night ,When deep sleep falls on men, 14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, Which made all my bones shake. 15 Then a spirit passed before my face; The hair on my body stood up. 16 It stood still, But I could not discern its appearance. A form was before my eyes; There was silence; Then I heard a voice saying: 17'Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a man be more pure than his Maker? 18 If He puts no trust in His servants, If He charges His angels with error, 19 How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before a moth? 20 They are broken in pieces from morning till evening; They perish forever, with no one regarding. 21 Does not their own excellence go away? They die, even without wisdom.'

And here is God’s response to the words of Eliphaz:

Job 42:7-10 NKJV

And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. 8 Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has." 9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD commanded them; for the LORD had accepted Job.

2) Balaam

Another example of dark light come by way of Balaam, whose name means, devourer, foreigner and destroyer of the people. Balaam was a soothsayer:

Josh 13:22 AMP

Balaam son of Beor, the soothsayer, the Israelites also killed with the sword among the rest of their slain. {Num 31:16.}

Balak, king of the Moabites wanted to hire Balaam to curse Israel. However to everyone’s surprise, the Spirit of the Lord came upon Balaam and he could not curse, but blessed them instead.

Num 24:1-4 AMP

WHEN BALAAM saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he did not go as he had done each time before {superstitiously} to meet with omens and signs in the natural world, but he set his face toward the wilderness or desert. 2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes and he saw Israel abiding in their tents according to their tribes. And the Spirit of God came upon him 3 And he took up his {figurative} discourse and said: Balaam son of Beor, the man whose eye is opened {at last, to see clearly the purposes and will of God}, 4 He {Balaam} who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down, but having his eyes open and uncovered...

When I read this above passage in connection with dark light, I noticed that Balaam mentions his eyes are OPENED and UNCOVERED. These terms are words of God’s clear light fully made manifest. I had the impression that Balaam made note of this because he was not used to seeing so clearly. He received a true revelation from God and knew the difference.

Scripture warns about going astray in following Balaam’s way. We must choose the light of God and not enter into the devil’s false light.

2 Peter 2:15-16 AMP

Forsaking the straight road they have gone astray; they have followed the way of Balaam {the son} of Beor, who loved the reward of wickedness. {Num 22:5,7.} 16 But he was rebuked for his own transgression when a dumb beast of burden spoke with human voice and checked the prophet's madness. {Num 22:21-31.}

Rev 2:14 AMP

Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: you have some people there who are clinging to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to set a trap and a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, {to entice them} to eat food that had been sacrificed to idols and to practice lewdness {giving themselves up to sexual vice}. {Num 25:1,2; 31:16.}

2 Cor 11:13-15 NKJV

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light . 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Balaam’s Warning To The Church: Pornography opens the door to dark light revelations

In the book of Revelations, Balaam is mentioned in the messages to the 7 churches, specifically for our last days. He writes to the church in Pergamnum, which name means, a tower or castle. These people lived in a region where satan dwelled and the Lord commends them for using their “strength to seize, lay hold of, take, keep and retain” their faith. However in the next verse He uses the same Greek word where some Christians are using their strength to “seize, lay hold of, take, keep and retain” the teachings of Balaam, who was a soothsayer. (Verses 13 & 15 below: #2902 hold fast KJ) These teachings were to eat things sacrificed to idols and also to commit sexual immorality, which is from the root word that we get our word pornography.

Rev 2:12-17 AMP

Then to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Pergamum write: These are the words of Him Who has and wields the sharp two-edged sword: 13 I know where you live — a place where Satan sits enthroned. {Yet} you are clinging to and holding fast My name, and you did not deny My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed (martyred) in your midst — where Satan dwells.

14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: you have some people there who are clinging to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to set a trap and a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, {to entice them} to eat food that had been sacrificed to idols and to practice lewdness {giving themselves up to sexual vice}. {Num 25:1,2; 31:16.} 15 You also have some who in a similar way are clinging to the teaching of the Nicolaitans {those corrupters of the people} which thing I hate. 16 Repent {then}! Or else I will come to you quickly and fight against them with the sword of My mouth. 17 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (conquers), I will give to eat of the manna that is hidden, and I will give him a white stone with a new name engraved on the stone, which no one knows or understands except he who receives it. {Ps 78:24; Isa 62:2.}

NT:2902 krateo (krat-eh'-o); from NT:2904; to use strength, i.e. seize or retain (literally or figuratively):

KJV - hold (by, fast), keep, lay hand (hold) on, obtain, retain, take (by).

SEXUAL IMMORALITY

NT:4203

NT:4203 porneuo (porn-yoo'-o); from NT:4204; to act the harlot, i.e. (literally) indulge unlawful lust (of either sex), or (figuratively) practise idolatry:

KJV - commit (fornication).

Balaam’s teachings also supported eating meat sacrificed to idols. Consider the spiritual parable of eating meat sacrificed to idols. In our spiritual language, eating meat is eating at the table of the Lord, it is our rhema, our Words from Him. Sacrificing to idols is a symbol of nurturing the demonic spirits that are behind demonic statues. What kind of “food” is going to strengthen, nurture, feed, sustain the demonic spirits associated with idols? Certainly it is not God’s Word, because His Word will destroy them. Rather, the spiritual food that feeds the idol’s spirits, I believe, is coming from Dark Light, or second heaven revelations.

Through out the years I have been incredibly amazed to witness so many snared Christians feeding on porn websites. These people show up at prayer meetings and share dreams, visions and “words” they consider are from the Lord. Many are among leadership and are dispatching these words to the church. Witnessing levels of sin vs spiritual giftedness in people has been a stumbling block to my understanding God. He promises that His calling and gifts on people’s lives are irrevocable. Therefore, once a person receives and is planted in their calling and gifts, these remain regardless of their character.

Rom 11:29 AMP

For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. {He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.}

What these people do not understand is that when they continue to live in sin, it gives their same gifts over to the anointing of dark light, which leads to death. Consider Saul who was chosen and anointed by God, the Spirit of the Lord fell upon him and he prophesied with the prophets. Later he became disobedient to God, was given over to a tormenting demonic spirit, and sought dark light for guidance. (1 Sam 10:11; 15:10; 16;14; 1 Samuel 29)

James 1:12-15 NKJV

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

2 Peter 2:19-22 NLT

They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves to sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you. 20 And when people escape from the wicked ways of the world by learning about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up with sin and become its slave again, they are worse off than before. 21 It would be better if they had never known the right way to live than to know it and then reject the holy commandments that were given to them. 22 They make these proverbs come true: "A dog returns to its vomit," and "A washed pig returns to the mud."

Prov 16:25 NKJV

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

Isa 5:20 NKJV

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;

John 9:39-41 NKJV

And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind." 40 Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?" 41 Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains.

I have been warned and warned by the Lord about the eye gates and how this opens doors to false, deceptive demonic revelations. This is something I have prayed over for years while the Lord has led me through a very long maze of watching prophetic people who are porn snared continue to prophesy and end up dispatching second heaven revelations.

I have also been reprimanded when I have watched PG+ movies that did not promote immorality, but suddenly there would be one scene with an innuendo, and I would fast forward through it. I felt fast forwarding justified watching the show. But that night I would get dumped on the demonic, having opened the door to it. I finally got so sick of rebuking the enemy and climbing up the same ladder rungs to resettle my faith, that I closed the door.

Porn is not just seeing a naked body or seeing a sexual act, it is any innuendo that is visual or verbal that is referring to immoral sex outside of marriage. Christians do not understand that when they see and hear these innuendos from the world, they have opened the door to Balaam’s dark light through their eye gates.

3) The lying spirit

1 Kings 22:19-23 NKJV

Then Micaiah said, "Therefore hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by, on His right hand and on His left. 20 And the LORD said, 'Who will persuade Ahab to go up, that he may fall at Ramoth Gilead?' So one spoke in this manner, and another spoke in that manner. 21 Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD, and said, 'I will persuade him.' 22 The LORD said to him, 'In what way?' So he said, 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' And the LORD said,’ You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.' 23 Therefore look! The LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these prophets of yours, and the LORD has declared disaster against you."

In the above scripture, in the courts of heaven a demonic spirit was in attendance. This is normal for them to present themselves before the Lord until their place is no longer found for them in heaven.

Job 1:6-7 NKJV

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. 7 And the LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" So Satan answered the LORD and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it."

Rev 12:7-12 NKJV

And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."

The demonic spirit was sent to deceive Ahab’s prophets with false revelation. This was spiritual revelation, but it was inspired from dark light. Obviously, God allowed the mixture of second heaven revelation, but it was for the ultimate sake of destroying the works of the enemy.

So, when considering second heaven revelation, keep in mind that Christians who are receiving second heaven revelation, are being used in such a way to make them fall, or be dishonorable vessels.

Dan 11:34-35 NKJV

And some of those of understanding shall fall , to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time.

HOW DO WE BECOME PURE AND UNDEFILED?

1) Confess our sin and ask God’s forgiveness and mercy.

1 John 1:9 NKJV

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2) Repent and change our ways.

Acts 3:19 NKJV

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

3) Consecrate our eye gates for God’s holy use.

Luke 11:34-36 NKJV

4) Stay obedient to God’s Word.

Rom 6:16 NKJV

Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

Rom 6:12-14 NKJV

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
