CURB YOUR PASSION TO FIT ITS RECEPTION

RHEMA 11/11/07 LEARNING TO TEMPER THE FLOW
HEARD:
Recipe for change. Indifference. A life style.

HEARD: Inhibited. Out of the box. Free speech. We value your opinion. They should be tender. Grace.

CT: 5:55

HEARD continued: You require some help. Assistance. It’s a bit more than I asked for.

HEARD: By the way, you are on the right track. This is our duty, to become manifest. To bear the light. From negative to positive. Be a blessing. Stay determined. I want you to know, you passed the test. Relevant.

PARABLE: A couple years ago I had a rude awakening when I went out to get our mail. The entire street was flooded. Water was backed up for several streets and people were not allowed to drive to their homes, but had to park several blocks away as the water was going up the driveways.

As it turned out, when my husband put in the culvert through the subdivision, it was a large one to code and it handled all the rain drainage from the neighborhood. However since that time there were 3 houses down from us that were not a part of the subdivision, and at different times they had independently connected themselves to the pipe. The first house put in a slightly smaller pipe, and then the one next to it connected with an even smaller one. The last house put in a 6 inch pipe and all of the watershed from the neighborhood was trying to get through!

Evidently when they put it in, besides not doing it according to code, they also drove on the ground on top of it and crushed the pipe beneath. When the maintenance crew came, they found the problem and ripped the whole thing out of their back yard and finally everyone's water receded.

WORD TO PONDER: CURB YOUR PASSION TO FIT ITS RECEPTION 11/11/07

After going through the school of hard knocks, you have learned some valuable lessons. One valuable lesson is learning that the zeal you feel over My Word may not be shared or received by others and you dont have the ability to ignite them without My Spirit. Since then I have taught you how to test the waters of receptivity and go forth with tact, discretion and wisdom. Your passion may be a huge culvert and their receptivity may only be a 6 inch pipe. Always remember that it takes 2 to connect: one willing to give and the other willing to receive. Learn to hold back the flow and taper it not necessarily to the need, but to the receptivity.

Your calling is to bear My light and turn the darkened world of corruption into a blessing of My love and light. Do not become discouraged or become negative due to people’s responses. Stay determined little one, no matter how much you are allowed to flow. I will weave you in and out - and together, you and I will make a difference. We will expand those little pipes and one day they will grow and be equally yoked with yours.

Matt 13:57-58 NLT
Then Jesus told them, "A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family." And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.
