WORD TO PONDER:  CONFLICTS IN COMMITMENT  9/09/06

When you come into conflicts where your expectations are not in synch with another, often it is due to different levels of commitment.  Some people have the specialty of juggling many goals, working a while on each one, while other goals are in the air waiting.  Other people do not enjoy being a jack of all trades, but much prefer becoming a specialist in one.  When there is a team ship between these two kinds of people, this can cause friction should there be an increase in the demands of time or stress in order to accomplish the common goal.

Do your best to be a peacemaker, and commit to prayer the goals, needs and the time it takes to accomplish them.  What has been assigned you, can not be accomplished without Me in the yoke with you.  When you are teamed with Me, what I ask is light and easy to bear.  Lay aside your ambition in timing, and trust that I see every detail that is not in synch, and I see the overall plan that needs to take place.  I AM not stressed over this, neither should you.

Matt 11:28-30 NKJV

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Ps 55:22   NKJV

Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
