RHEMA 10/21/06  CHANNELS AND PRESSURES

HEARD:  I need you to find your soul.  The part that wanders.  Commitment.  She’s swimming.  Fast current.  And now she’s in another place. 

CONFIRMATIONS IN TONIGHT’S PRAYER MEETING:

We had a real unity flowing in tonight’s pre-prayer service at church.  It was a real demonstration of a Team Word on what I heard this morning.

HEARD:  Quick relief.  I carried you.  You’d be surprised at what I will do. 

CONFIRMATION:  One of our intercessors prayed, “There is a swift current.”

I HEARD:  Channels and pressures.  In a narrow place.  Powerful current.  Take us there!

CONFIRMATION:  Then another intercessor declared, “The river is getting swifter and swifter.”

CONFIRMATION:  Then the first intercessor said, “The river that is flowing.”

PIX:  I saw some debris and log jams in a narrow place in the river.

CONFIRMATION:  The first intercessor said immediately after I saw that pix, “Let the dam break through so there are no restraints.  We are not content with a little trickle.”

IMPRESSION:  I had the impression that we have life jackets on and can carry others who do not.  Even if they dont know how to swim in the river, we can carry them with us to a safe place.

AFTER PRAYER:  We all waited upon the Lord to see what He wanted to say, and I had taken notes during all of what was going on in the prayer room, so I shared these things after our time of silence.  Later another intercessor came to me with the following story, since I had mentioned hearing channels and pressures in a tight place. 

He told me of Winnie the Pooh bear who loved to eat honey.  He got so fat that he was stuck in a hole in the tree and he had to stop eating until he got small enough that they could pull him out of the hole.  He said, “I am in a great tightness. “   When he was telling me of this, I remembered hearing the Lord whisper Pooh Bear last week, and I had no idea what that meant as I had never read Winnie’s story. 

The intercessor said that Winnie loved to consume honey upon himself and did not want to share it or give it away.  It is quickened to me that the Lord is bringing those who are isolated and stuffed with the Word of God to a new place where they can pour out what has been poured in.  When they receive, they need to be the channel that gives it right back out.  In so doing, they not only experience God’s awesome river, but they become the channels of it too.  It is a oneness of reciprocal flowing in mutual receiving and giving. 

11/06/06  UPDATE ADDITION TO EATING TOO MUCH HONEY: 

Paul Keith Davis released part 3 of the Shepherd’s Rod for 2007 and he relates the following given to his wife Wanda:

 

“WE ARE WHAT WE EAT

On the evening of Atonement, my wife Wanda had a dream that was very similar in nature. In it she and others were brought into a glorious banqueting room. A table was prepared for the banquet that contained vast amounts of food ranging from sweets and delicacies of little nutritional value to gourmet dishes with very healthy benefits. Intuitively, she knew that she was to be very selective in her choice so that maximum benefit could be derived from the things she ate. She passed over the deserts and chose only healthy foods. Following the meal, a word of counsel was released concerning the banquet. The vast choices represent the range of decisions we have concerning our level of maturity. According to the apostle Paul, strong meat is for the mature. The deserts and sweet delicacies are wonderful to the taste but have little strengthening value. We will become what we eat. She was also told in the dream that this parable had both natural and spiritual application. Not only are we called to be spiritually strong, but also in our natural bodies. There is a present call for spirit filled believers in Jesus Christ to present their bodies in a more healthy way. We will need our strength in the coming battle.”

SANDY COMMENT:  I feel that her dream connects with this revelation about Winnie the Pooh’s honey.  The log jams in His river is that we have grown fat on the sweeter Words and also milk Words of God, and not eaten the strong meat that we need to take us the long haul of overcoming and also bringing in the harvest, healing and deliverance.  In this particular revelation, it has to do with becoming givers.

WORD TO PONDER:  CHANNELS AND PRESSURES  10/21/06

In My river, when I accelerate My timings, it causes a flurry of action.  In a natural streambed or river, the waters flow more quickly when the land slopes downhill.  The fewer the rocks, or stumbling stones in its path, the faster the water moves.  And the narrower the channel is, the more pressure is built up in order to pass through quickly. 

If you stand along the bank, you may witness My Words passing so fast, that you will miss the depth of what took place, unless you are in the water experiencing it for yourself.  The experience may be a powerful one, of jumping in, getting wet and feeling the surge of My power.  However, it is important that when you feel the drawing to release yourself to the drawing of My Presence, that you understand this sudden acceleration has a purpose to MOVE you to another place.  I AM strongly moving My people to another place through channels and pressures.

Job 28:10-11 NKJV

He cuts out channels in the rocks, And his eye sees every precious thing. He dams up the streams from trickling; What is hidden he brings forth to light.

IT IS TIME TO SWITCH TO ANOTHER LANE

Scene: As I drove to my office this morning (10/23/06), I realized that the lane I was in was crowded with the vehicles and it moved slowly.  Meanwhile I realized that the lane on my left side had fewer cars and the vehicles moved much faster there.  Then I decided to switch to that left lane and drove fast to my office. It was at that moment that I felt the quickening of the Lord: “It is time to switch to another lane”.

Quickened message: The Lord saw your circumstances and you were in a slower lane. Now the Lord has opened a door for you; it is the time to grasp the opportunity offered and enter through the door of hope and future. When you switch to the new lane, which the Lord has prepared and ordained for you, you will grow faster and flourish. And you will realize that is a much better place prepared for you. Don’t be hesitant and miss the opportunity. It is the time to exercise faith and move swiftly.
