Candles are burning for the lord  1/23/10

OPENED SMELL:  Sometimes the darkness presses in and so we press in harder to the Lord.  Our candles are burning.  The Lord has opened my smell numerous times this morning as I am doing devotions and rhema.  I have smelled a burning candle of incense come and go.  I mentioned it to Wayne as he is praying and doing his devotions in his chair across the room from me.  I said, “Honey our candles are burning, He is not taking our Candlestick from us.”  And then Wayne, holding the paper He was praying, read to me the following scriptures that He has prayed this morning!  I did not know what was on his paper:

Ps 18:28 KJV

For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

Prov 20:27  KJV

The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
