CONFIRMATION PRAYER TIME  12/22/11

Wayne and I gather together every night in the living room to pray over what we saw, heard, read, were exposed to and concerned over.  We do this as a team, doing our part to "watch and pray."

Tonight we prayed over the grandkids that the Lord would teach them to follow their consciences.  Then I turned to the following and it was a confirmation:

BOUNDARIES PARABLE:   10/25/08

We have been praying over our grandson that the Lord will help him be a teachable spirit and learn to respect boundaries for safety, respect and obedience. Today he was saying, “Bear, bear, bear!” as he was circling around in my teddy bear room. Then he walked over to our cupboard and said, “NO.” And then walked over the 2nd matching cupboard and said, “NO.” It was such a blessing to witness him doing this. I knew it was the Lord telling me He was answering our prayers. We all need to truly understand our God given boundaries and respect them.

On judgment day many will tell me, 'Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.' But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Go away; the things you did were unauthorized .' Matt 7:22-23 NLT

WORD TO PONDER: SUBMITTING TO ME IS A SPIRITUAL WEAPON 10/25/08

Contrary to popular vote, not all deliverance is found through shouting at demons. There are many ways to overcome the enemy strongholds in your life. One of the most important ones is learning to submit to Me. Yield to Me what does not belong in your life. This destroys the demonic strongholds and sets you free. Heed My ways dear one, I have given you clear and precise standards in My Word. Simply obey, and watch the strongholds crumble at your feet.

James 4:7-10 NKJV

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

WORD TO PONDER:  LEARN TO WATCH AND PRAY  12/22/11

I have called you to be My watchmen, to watch and pray.  Each and every day you are exposed to circumstances that alert your spiritual antennas.  What you read, what you watch, what you hear... what you think, what you see in both and natural and spiritual world give cause for your heart to wrestle to bring all things in alignment with My Truth and Word.  Learn to recognize these things and daily bring them to Me.  Learn to pray over these things dear ones.  Learn to pray.  The world is dark and as You bring the darkness to Me, I will lighten your soul and bring My kingdom to earth through your prayers.  Heed this for I need you to partner with Me.

Matt 6:9-13 NKJV

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
