QUICKENED WORD:  ACTION  4/09/10

I read a letter from inJesus today saying that action was required.  It was speaking about managers needing to sign up with the new service, if they wanted to continue with inJesus. 

CONFIRMATION:  Later one of our QW Class members had written a Word titled “Action.”

As I pondered this, the word “action” reminded me of the many times Jesus asked the person who was wanting something from Him, to do some kind of action.  Like for instance in the following, the man with the hand was told to arise, stand and stretch out his hand.

Luke 6:8-10

But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, "Arise and stand here." And he arose and stood. 9 Then Jesus said to them, "I will ask you one thing: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy?"  10 And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

Faith is my persuaded, moral conviction of God’s truth.
As I believe, so I am. As I believe, so I become.
It is impossible to have faith without action because
To have faith without works is dead.
Have I pleased God by living what I believe?

For whatever is not from faith is sin.

Heb 11:5-6 NKJV
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Heb 11:1 AMP

NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

QUESTION:  What are you asking of God right now, and what is He asking you to do in order to receive it?
